Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MEMBERSHIP FEES for the Freight Transport Association have been increased to new members from August 1, and existing members will pay more from January 1, 1975.

The enrolment fee is now £12 and the basic fee £8 or £6.50 if small vehicles only are operated.

In addition, the per vehicle subscription has become 65p for each vehicle not exceeding 3IA tons gross and £1.25 for each other vehicle. The minimum annual fee is £10 and the branch registration £7.50.

For large fleet operators the fees are: for up to 100 vehicles the normal rate is charged with a maximum of £65; 100-149 vehicles, £70; 150-199, £85; 200-249, £95; 250-299, £110 and so on at a rate of a further £10 for each additional 50 vehicles.

Fees for fleets of over 500 vehicles remain negotiable while those for operating associates continue at 90 per cent of full member rates.

All the fees are subject to VAT at the standard rate.
