Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TAKING the view that there will be an increasing demand for their products, Kirkstall Forge Engineering, Ltd., are going ahead with a development scheme of which capital expenditure last year amounted to nearly £350,000. This is stated by Mr. R. G. Butler, chairman of the company, in his annual report.

The board believe that expansion could be financed entirely from the company's own resources. In the year ended June 30 the company's net profit fell to £180,707, compared with £240,643 for the previous financial year, because of a setback in the motor industry at the time of the Suez emergency.
