LAST Saturday, at midnight, Ribble Motor Services, Ltd., jointly with Messrs. J. Fishwick and Sons, took over the services of Messrs. J. and R. Singleton, on the Preston, Chorley and Bamber Bridge routes. About 30 bus drivers, conductors and maintenance men have been displaced by the change-over, but the concern is making efforts to secure them employment elsewhere.
