Merc Axor R gets crewcab
THE MERCEDES-BENZ Atego range has featured a seven-seater, four-door crewcab version for some time, and the same option has now been introduced to 4x2 and 4x4 versions of the larger Axor R model.
The steel cab is built to the same levels as the standard item, and features separate steps to the rear doors and the two double bench seats with individual three-point belts and storage space beneath.
The cab still tilts hydraulically, although its travel has been limited to 31°.
