Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

interest about last week's London Trans-Action truck demonstration. But surely the best way to put across the message to the Government is to stop all haulage transport for a week. I'm sure everybody in the haulage business can do with a week's rest owing to the long hours we have to work to make ends meet, and I'm sure they would not miss the small income from a week's work.

It would cost us very little and reduce our fuel and tyre bills for the month.

The Government talks about HGVs as if they are something we ride around in for pleasure. It says it is putting the price of fuel up to push cars off the road—cars use a very small amount of fuel compared with HGVs. How much road tax is spent on roads? How often do we have to go miles out of our way to bypass a bridge which was made in the days of horses and carts?

I think it is high time we made a stand against this -unfair treatment over taxing. But who is going to organise it? Would CM be able to? It is clear that RHA and FTA only want to keep us informed on all the latest rules and regulations.
