/ Tomorrow (24 April) the United Road Transport Union announces the result of its election for general-secretary.
The 18,000 members will know whether present generalsecretary Frank Griffin, South Shields officer David Higginbottorn or Bolton officer Stan Parkinson will take the union's top post.
Balloting started last month, shortly after Griffin applied to the High Court for an injunction to prevent his union, and four of its executive members, from publicising why they upheld a complaint made by Higginbottorn against him.
