• Mercedes-Benz is launching its own contract hire operation, Mercedes-Benz CharterWay on 7 May at the same time as similar operations in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
CharterWay will operate through 61 Mercedes CV dealers throughout the UK. It will offer a complete livery service for bodies and trailers, with replacement vehicles provided as necessary. A pan European co-operation arrangement has been reached with CTR to provide trailers. However no "with driver" or contract distribution option will be offered.
