• Drivers of large passenger carrying vehicles not used for hire or reward have until 30 September to apply for restricted entitlement.
Drivers of buses operating under large bus permits must also get restricted entitlement by the same date.
Historic buses more than 30 years old may now only be driven by full category B and DI licence holders who are aged 21 or over.
Vehicles must not be used for hire or reward and not more than eight passengers may be carried.
