• Two hauliers are fighting it out with more than 30 companies for a best business award supported by Prince Charles.
PG & MK Osborne Transport has won the best business competition in the Humberside region, while Stuart Cornforth Transport has taken the title in Merseyside. Both are competing for the Prince's Youth Business Trust best business of 1992.
The two companies are against 36 others from national regions; the winner will be announced in London on June 12. Prince Charles will present the prizes.
Both companies were started up with either a loan or grant from the Prince's Trust.
