Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Esso has ordered another 28 Scania P113MA 4x2 day-cabbed tractive units for double shift work from its Leeds depot and regional petrol stations.

The steel-sprung 3.4m wheelbase artics are powered by Scania's 235kW (320hp) 11-litre charge-cooled DSC11-17 diesels with the 10-speed GR871 range-change gearbox.

Bosch anti-lock braking and seat belts are factory fitted along with Pet-reg equipment, supplemented by Drum ancillaries. Together with aluminium wheels and 300-litre fuel tank the units weigh in at 6,400kg (with driver), allowing Esso to carry up to 35,000 litres in its gravity discharge tri-axle tanker trailers.

Part of the deal, which is worth about £1.4m, involves a three-year maintenance and repair contract in which Scania's Bristol, Nottingham and Southampton distributors will take over the operation of local Esso workshops.
