A SCOTTISH Bus Group subsidiary has been called to a public inquiry next month when the Traffic Commissioners will consider revoking its operator's licence.
Central SMT's maintenance record has attracted the Scottish Commissioners' attention and a hearing has been fixed for May 4. The company runs 460 buses in Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire.
Last year, National Welsh had its 0-licence curtailed by three years after the South Wales Traffic Commissioners considered the effects of a poor maintenance record.
