Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE FIRST cattle transporter application for the eight-wheeler F86 Volvo is this double-deck outfit just put into service by A. E. Stuart and Sons of Clyst St Mary Devon.

With a 9.1m (30ft) upper deck and an 8.5m (28ft) lower level, the truck has a payload of 17 tons, equivalent to about 30 fat cattle.

The 8x4, which was supplied by Heathfield Commercials Ltd of Chipping Sodbury, incorporates a steel and aluminium panel body by Houghton Parkhouse Coachwork, Milnthorpe, Westmorland, with chequerpla te aluminium flooring, motorised rear ramp and 2.44 and 3.04m (8 and 10ft) interior partitions.

The company carries about 2,000 to 3,000 cattle weekly from West Country markets to all parts of Great Britain. As most of this running is carried out at night, all the company's vehicles are fitted with extra front and rear marker lights, double spot and fog lamps and flexible bottom lights.

Volvo eight-wheelers will be making their first show appearance at the RHA Tipping Convention at Harrogate from April 29.

Three models will be on display with bodies by three different builders. An alloy welded tipper body by Northumbrian Metal Industries Ltd incorporates a full-length alloy rear grain hatch. The Anthony Carrimore model is again alloy with an insulated glass fibre interior and a tapered horizontal split tail door.,
