MAJOR F. S. EasTwoou has been re-elected chairman of the Yorkshire section of the Institute of Transport, MR. ROBERT BARR, MR, C. E. DOUTHWAITE and Ivta. J. E. RICHARDSON have been elected vice-chairmen; MR. H. MANN honorary secretary, and MR. C. R. H. WREATHALL, honorary treasurer.
SIR HERBERT Mar-rxEws has been elected president of the Institute of Traffic Administration, MR. E. P. PUTTICK and MR. J. A. DUNNAGE are vice-presidents. MR. R. P. BOWYER has been elected chairman of the National Council, with MR. B. E. WALLS, MR. W. B. WHALEY and MR. L. C. HARRISON as vice-chairmen.
MR. E. V. RALPH has been re-elected chairman and MR. H. A. TAYLOR vicechairman of the bus and coach section of the Passenger Vehicle Operators' Association (South Wales Area), In addition to Mr. Ralph and Mr. Taylor, MR. J. J. NEWBURY, M.B.E., and MR. A. E. BREWER will represent the area on the national council.
LORD AIREDALE, D.S.O., M.C., deputy chairman, has accepted the chairmanship of the Ford Motor Co., Ltd., in place of LORD PERRY OF STOCK HARVARD, 1C.B.E., LL.D. Lord Perry will continue to be a director.
