Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Gregory Distribution has introduced eight ultra-short artics to its contract with Spar wholesaler Appleby Westward.

The short (3.25m)-wheelbase Daf FT 75CF tractive units haul 9m single-axle reefer trailers built by Gray & Adams.

Operating out of Cullompton, the artics will make daytime deliveries to Spar stores where manoeuvring into con fined spaces will be helped by commandsteer trailer axles.

Height is another issue: the fifth wheel is fitted to a low mounting plate to keep overall height to 3.8m with an internal height of 2.2m. The 290hp version of Daf's 9.2-litre engine powers the combination, at a gross weight of 26 tonnes and a payload of about 12 tonnes.
