Millard has been in the business for over 50 years and predicts that many drivers and bosses will justifiably be prosecuted for cutting corners.
"A lot of people these days don't bother or don't care about safety," he warns. "The managers are at fault for not making sure the drivers are up to the job, although many of the drivers don't have a clue what they are doing.
"One of the big problems is a lot of managers come into the job nowadays having never driven a truck, so a lot of the drivers don't get the training they need."
