Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

COURIER GIANT DHL has applied for an injunction against animal rights protesters in a bid to protect the safety of its UK employees.

It is understood the application to the High Court was made after the company appeared on an animal rights "target list" because of its commercial links with a major medical research company.

A DHL spokesman says: "This application has been made in order to protect our employees, premises and services we provide our customers from possible harassment and/or disruption caused by animal rights protest groups.

"Whilst we recognise the rights of individuals and groups to express their opinions and concerns,we are keen to balance these rights with the need to allow our staff to undertake their duties without fear of harassment and to serve our customers."

As CM went to press DHL was awaiting a court decision on whether the injunction had been granted.
