• Drivers of vehicles carrying or towing hazardous goods must pass an examination by 1 January 1995 if they want to continue working in this sector.
Taunton-based training company Friendberry is warning drivers they should book courses soon. It says most drivers are having to wait eight to 10 weeks to receive their ADR certificates after completing a course.
Its Government-approved four-day course costs £180 (inc-VAT). Contact Andrew Davidson in Friendberry's sales and marketing department on (0984) 56310.
