Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

by Jane Sayer • Essex-based heavy haulier Rod Done of Engineering Services is seeking an exgratia payment from Lloyds Bank after it admitted overcharging him nearly £5,000 and losing his records.

Done, who runs two tractor units and five trailers from Stanford le Hope, says as a result of the mistakes he had cheques bounce, causing suppliers to lose confidence in his business.

The bank has refunded about £5,000 to Done. It blames the tions have improved since a business manager has been appointed to the Basildon branch of Lloyds.

However, he is still angry about the unnecessary financial stress he has been put through, as like many small businessmen he had offered his home as security. "We should have pursued the matter much more vigorously and much sooner," he says. The bank manager is no longer God, you have to push him."
