• Michel Petiot, is succeeding John Peters as general manager of Bandag's Eastern Hemisphere Retreading Division, based in Belgium; Peters takes on other responsibilites in the division.
• Glen Boden, takes over as product and technical director of the Warrington-based HGV and PSV silencer manufacturer Wasey Exhaust.
• Alastair Pugh, who began his career on the design staff of de Havilland Aircraft, has been elected president of the Chartered Institute of Transport.
• Craig Donald, is the new fleet sales manager for the automotive refinish division of PPG Industries (UK). He was previously field sales manager for Northern England and Ireland, and Scotland.
• Gerald Owen, becomes Avon Tyres sales manager; he has been with the company for nearly 20 years. Errol Flowers, previously national fleet sales manager for truck tyres, is now southern divisional manager.
