Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Swiss-American joint venture company Gurit-Essex has begun production of advanced vehicle bonding and sealing products at its subsidiary based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

Initially, the sole product is Betaseal adhesive/sealant, mainly used for the direct bonding of windscreens, rear screens and fixed windows in coaches, commercial vehicles and cars.

The UK division was set up in 1977 as a warehousing operation to import and distribute products from the parent company's plant in Switzerland.

Says John Ratcliffe, managing director of Gurit-Essex (UK): "The commissioning of our first production line after nine years as a warehousing operation is a sign of growing confidence of the parent company in the UK motor industry and an indication of the growth of Gurit-Essex worldwide."
