FREE AA CHECKS FOR CAR PHONES • Car-phone users fed up with poor reception and failed calls can have their equipment checked free of charge by the Automobile Association until the end of the month.
AA Mobile Communications' main fitting depots at Hammersmith, Harrow, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow will ensure that phones have been installed correctly and that aerials are properly fitted and tuned.
