Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PATCHING of the asphalt road surface on the Severn Bridge has started and will carry on every weekend until October 8. The work is programmed to be carried out between 7.30pm on Fridays and 7.30am on Mondays.

The Department of Transport says that there will be lane closures and mandatory 30mph speed limit imposed for safety reasons during the patching but at least one traffic lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

Every effort will be made to keep inconvenience to drivers to a minimum but some delays can be expected and drivers are advised to allow a little longer for their journeys.
