Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PARCELS CARRIER Lex Wilkinson thls week entered the home delivery market with the launch of its new Homeline service.

It is a joint venture with GUS Transport, the distribution arm of Great Universal Stores which includes the leading mail order catalogues Trafford, Kays, Marshall Ward and John England.

The two companies have signed a 10-year agreement under which Lex Wilkinson vehicles make the Homeline collections and trunk the parcels to the appropriate GUS Transport depots.

There the Homeline parcels are consolidated with the existing in-house GUS mail order traffic for final home delivery in GUS Transport's White Arrow vans.

Lex Wilkinson has also added to its Nightline next-day and Expressline two to three-day services. A "before 9.30am" service is now available on Nightline and this includes Saturday deliveries.

Expressline already has an average transit time of 2.3 days with 75 per cent of parcels delivered in two days, but Lex Wilkinson has introduced a guaranteed two-day service (including Saturdays) which carries a 50 per cent rate surcharge over the standard Expressline.
