MANCHESTER-based Salford Van Hire has appointed Neville Hodkin as contract director. He is responsible for developing both truck and car contract business at Manchester and Leeds.
Mr Hodkin has had over 30 years' experience in commercial vehicle sales and rentals with the Kenning Motor Group, where he was most recently general manager of the Manchester Truck Centre.
Mr Hodkin is expected to take a major role in developing the contract sides of the business over the next few years. The 600-strong contract fleet may be doubled by the end of 1985.
