Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

YORK Truck Equipment.

• Ltd is to build and market a new range of grp bodies through its national network of 12 service and repair branches.

Using the experience of York Trailers in producing the grp Freightmaster vans, the new bodies will be manufactured at Corby and distributed in kit form for local assembly.

Sizes between 4.2m and 7.3m (14-24ft) will be held in stock to enable installation to be completed within five days of receipt of the chassis.

One-piece 18mm (0.17in) composite grp-faced body panels used for each side and for the bulkhead are assembled using extruded aluminium one-piece translucent fibreglass panels bonded to aluminium roof bows with all peripheral fixing points outside the cargo area.

The floor area is constructed from 22mm (0.875in) halflapped hardwood planks laid longitudinally, braced by the base-frame cross-members at 0.6m (2ft). Four hinges with nylon bearings attach each of the full-height rear doors, with extruded rubber weather seals to the rear frame.

Container-type cam locks secure the doors in the closed position, when it is claimed to form an integral part of the box strength, although roller and wide-slat shutters are offered as options.

Complete with a folding liftup step and under-run bumper incorporated in the base frame, a 6.1m (20ft) x 2.5m (8ft 21/2in) x 2.2m (7ft 3in) body is said to weigh as little as 1270kg (25cwt) and fitted to a typical chassis cab such as the Bedford KG5 will gross at under 7.5 tonnes.
