OPERATORS who ben from the results achievet the Road Haulage Associa but who neither belong contribute to the Associa have been criticised by 1 secretary Eric Russell.
Speaking at the Southe ton Hauliers' Club annual ner on Friday, he members that their inte and involvement in the v of the RHA was vital to effectiveness of the RHA.
"Hauliers need the dii tangible services which RHA provides in many fc — but they also need, and through the Associatio constant defence of their erests before Parliament, Government and local aut ities," said Mr Russell.
He cited the Prices C mission investigation haulage charges, the Fc Committee, the Transport drivers' hours, restric practices and docks legislE as having been affected b2 RHA.
