• Mr K. C. Turner has been reappointed chairman of the Road Transport Industry Training Board for three years from September 15, 1972. Among the 27 other members named by Mr Maurice Macmillan, Secretary of State for Employment, on Wednesday, are five new employer members, three new employee members and two new education members.
They are Mr J. J. Baylis, managing director, F. A. Baylis Ltd. Bristol; Mr W. E. Dodsworth, works director, Park Royal Vehicles Ltd, London; Mr J. E. C. Morrey, director of training, Wadham Stringer Ltd, Waterlooville; Mr G. D. Neeley, director of finance, National Bus Co; and Mr V. G. Paige, director of manpower and organization, National Freight Corporation, for the employers: Mr A. M. Evans, Mr G. Hawley and Mr R. Todd of the Transport and General Workers' Union for the employees. The education members newly elected are Mr W. A. Lee, head of the automobile engineering department at Kitson College of Technology, Leeds, and Mr D. H. Wilcockson, chief education officer of the London Borough of Havering.
