Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

the CM Table of Operating Costs reflect any discount terms which might be available? Does the maintenance figure refer to any particular year of the vehicle's ire?

A When compiling tyre costs for the tables, the full retail purchase price is considered. Though discounts do apply it would be difficult to arrive at an average. Operators will find it easier to adjust the figures given to take account of any discount terms which they might be able to obtain.

Maintenance costs are averaged over the mileage life of the vehicle. This ranges from 75,000 to 300,000 miles according to the type. The maintenance cost quoted, therefore, represents the average cost per mile of keeping the vehicle in good order spread over its full life.
