A triple-dropside timber body is exhibited on this stand on a Ford 01614 chassis which is equipped with a Welford-Muscle hydraulic loader that can lift 5 tons 10cwt at 5ft 6in, radius and 1 ton 7cwt at a radius of 16ft Sin., the weight of the loader being 1 ton 15cwt, An 13ft aluminium tipping body is shown mounted on a Ford Transit 175 chassis and is tipped by an Edbro electro-hydraulic single-ram gear operated by the vehicle's battery. A Hiab Model 550/0 loader having a capacity of 3.25 tons at 5ft 7in. radius is a feature of an aluminium double-dropside tipping body seen mounted on a Bedford KM 6x4 chassis plated at 22 tons gvw. This body is tipped by a Welford Model 5 twin-ram purpose-built underbody gear and has a length of 15ft, its cubic capacity being 15 cu ft.
