Mounted on a Bristol LH chassis with gvw rating of 11.25 tons, . a 36ft 8ir pantechnicon complies with TIR require merits, while a 32ft Bin. pantechnicon i based on a Bedford KM chassis with a gvw c 16 tons 8cwt and is specially designed for th transport of fragile electronic equipmen. Having a length of 21ft 6in., the smallim Marsden pantechnicon is mounted on Bedford KC chassis rated at 7 tons 2cwt gyvs the unladen weight of the vehicle being 2 ton 19 cwt
The framing of the Bristol-based bod structure is gusseted and reinforced at stres points and is bonded to one-piece moulde grp exterior panels, the translucent glassfibr roof being a one-piece moulding.
In the case of the Bedford KM Luton var the composite body structure is also bonde to grp side panels and all the vehicles hay flat floors. The framing of the under-3-ton va is of aluminium construction and the frame c rear aperture is of mild-steel section.
