A racing car transporter built for the Joh Player/Lotus team and mounted on a Leylan chassis is the highlight of this company' exhibits. It is shown alongside a van clad i stainless steel mounted on a Bedford C chassis.
Three fully assembled formula 1 cars ca be loaded on the transporter which also has workshop area. A Hubbard Fridgiking FK4 ai conditioner fitted in the roof is operated by petrol engine power pack located below th. floor. Electrical power for the workshop i supplied by an Onas 8.3amp generator whicl is also driven by a petrol engine.
Details of the van include an all-stee peripheral frame which Can accept steel, ugh alloy, or composite intermediate frarm members. Dover shutters of stainless steE have an integral locking device whil, operation of the Ratcliff Bantam lift is assistei by a torsion bar.
