he Seddon group has three passenger ehicles at Earls Court, two of which have ever been exhibited before. On the Pennine tand the new Midi 25-seat bus (see CM last reek) will probably create most of the iterest. This little bus — which has been uilt to big bus durability standards — is only Oft long. It has a 7ft 6in.-wide body by .ennine and uses the Perkins 4.236 engine. lost other Major components are the same s those used on the company's full-size hassis. Of course there are some differences, ke the use of single instead of twin tyres on le rear axle. The bus weighs 4 tons 5cwt omplete and costs £5170 fully painted and immed.

The second bus on the Pennine stand is an xample of Seddon's well-known RU )ar-engine chassis with a Pennine body. The how model is for Lytham St Anne's .orporation Transport and can carry 65 assengers, 18 of them standees. The bus is 1m long and uses a Gardner 6LX engine and )ur-speed semi-automatic gearbox.

In the demonstration park is an example of eddon's Inter-Urban express bus which was nnounced earlier this year. Incidentally, Pennine is now offering its bodies, particularly the Inter-Urban, dn any make of chassis.
