The Formula 8 platform skeletal semi-trailer is on the stand. Plated to 30 tons gross trailer weight the 40ft platform is fitted with retractable twistlocks to carry one 40ft or twc 20ft containers. Ten lashing rings, five pei side, are fitted at equal distances along the floor adjacent to the side-raves.

The main-members are fabricated 1-beamE 19in. deep by 4in. wide, the twistlocks are supported fabricated I-beam bolsters threader through the mainframe. Similar sectior cross-members 4in. deep are spaced alonc the frame between bolsters.
