York in Europe is the theme behind the stand The three main exhibits on stand 124 havi been designed with European operatini conditions in mind — to help British operator make a more profitable entry into Europe.

To emphasize the theme York he introduced a new range of platforn semi-trailers for operation at gros: combination weights between 16 and 34 tons.

On stand 329 the company is showing a tip ping drawbar trailer. It has an unladen weigh of approximately 3 tons allowing a 13-toi payload within its 16-ton gross trailer weight The 18ft 6in.-long drawbar chassis is fitter with a York U shaped tipping body of 13.5 ct yd. capacity. Suspension is York Ham single-axle running gear with 15.5in. b. 8.25in. brakes at the front and smalle 15.5in. by 7in. at the rear to compensate fo weight transfer onto front axle when thi vehicle is stopping,
