Four exhibits are shown by this company, two on the stand and two in the demonstration park.

Stand exhibits are a 40ft platform skeletal semi-trailer and a tilt-covered drawbar trailer. The semi-trailer is fitted with ROR retractable twistlocks for carrying one 40ft, or two 20ft ISO containers. The running gear is ROR close-coupled with multi-leaf springs 'and 22500 series cambered axles. The bogie is plated to 18 tons and is fitted with Michelin 11.00 x 22.5 tyre equipment and 16.5in. by 8.625in. S-cam actuated brakes.

The fifth-wheel plate is supplied with a 2ft 6in. and 3ft 3in. kingpin position, the pin being bolted to the plate. Deck material is yellow meranti hardwood • with steel top-hat sections. Plated gross trailer weight is 27/29 tons depending on pin position giving a typical payload of 20/22 tons at 32 tons gcw.

The 22ft-long two-axle drawbar trailer. rigged with TIR superstructure and bodywork, has aluminium drop sides and conventional I-beam mainframe 16in. deep by 5.5in. wide with l-section cross-members 4in. deep by 1.75in. wide fixed at 2ft centres.

Suspension is by multi-leaf spring at each axle connected to ROR 22500 series axles. Load-sensing valves are fitted to each axle. The German Jost ball-type turntable is used, as is an A-bar stabilizer.

It is possible to remove the tilt and upper superstructure and run the vehicle as a drop-sided outfit.

The trailer is plated to 16 tons gross trailer weight; a typical payload of 10 tons 400 Cu ft capacity) may be carried at 32 tons gcw.

In the demonstration park there is a tandem-axle van for dry freight. It is called the Peak Strongbox and the body panels comprise grp-faced plywood covered with Formica as used with the Tidd Strongbox body. The internal width, 8ft 1n., allows two metric pallets to be stacked side by side.

A step-frame semi-trailer with tilt is also in the park. The main frame is two fabricated I-beams 20m. deep by 6in. wide, cut away and flitched to suit the suspension. .

The floor is 1.125 hardwood with steel top-hat sections. Ten cargo lashing rings are recessed into the floor on each side and each side of the chassis has three ship lashing rings. The lower deck height is 3ft 2in. and a capacity of 2900 Cu ft is obtained within a 4 metre overall height.
