Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Unipower Ltd, Aintree Road, Perivale, Middx.

Unveiled for the first time at the Show i a completely new airfield crash tende version of Unipower's established Invade 4 x 4 chassis. A Rolls-Royce B81 petrol engin( is fitted for the first time and gives a perform ance which is up to Department of Trade an Industry requirements. The chassis frame hal been redesigned to accept the long straight. eight engine more readily. The 34in. wick frame is straight in plan and side elevation anr the 10.5in. x 3m. x 0.25in. side-membert can be produced in any length so thai additional auxiliaries may be mounted on front and/or rear overhangs.

Technically, the most noteworthy featurc of the R44 Invader chassis is the entirely net pto assembly developed by Unipower. Mounted between the engine and the Eaton l‘iV 542 gearbox, the full-torque pto can be engaged or disengaged at will while on the move, meaning that, for example, fire fighting foam can be dispensed as the tender approaches the crash scene. The new Invader is equipped by Hcs Angus Ltd.

Also on the stand is the standard P44 Invader chassis which was introduced earlier this year as Britain's first on/off road 4 x 4 articulated tractive unit. Powered by a Perkins V8-510 diesel engine this Invader has a Kirkstall auxiliary transfer gearbox enabling the front axle drive to be disengaged for more economical and smooth on-road at speeds up to 50 mph. The model has a 12ft 11 in. wheelbase and is suitable for rigid and drawbar operation as well as for airfield tender applications.

A Unipower conversion of a Dodge KT900 to a 28 tons gvw eight-wheel rigid can be seen on the Dodge stand no 87).
