THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS of Dagenham Motors Ltd. has appointed S. G. Forsyth, director, chairman of the board and managing director from October 2, 1967.
Mr. Forsyth was previously director of the commercial vehicle division of Ford Motor Co. Ltd. and managing director of Ford of Sweden.
S. E. G. Toy (formerly the general sales manager, car division) succeeds Mr. Forsyth as manager of the commercial vehicle division.
Alderman Norman Harris, chairman of Southend-on-Sea Corporation transport committee, was last week officially installed as the new
president of the Municipal Passenger Transport Association, in succession to J. G. Timpson, general manager and engineer, Plymouth Corporation Transport. W. L. Russell, general manager at Dundee, is now vice-chairman.
Garth H. Coiling has been appointed Silcock and Coiling Group managing director; Harvey L. Rose, a director of Trans-Port Terminals Ltd. also becomes a director of Silcock and Coiling Ltd.; John Kingston—director of Trans-Port Terminals responsible for all Group sales: Eric Rivers, general manager of Trans-Port Terminals—also a director of that company; G. Hamilton-Cleve, relinquishes post as personal assistant to Group managing director—now responsible for co-ordinating all Group industrial relations and personnel activities; R. J. Melvin, company secretary of Silcock and Coiling Ltd.—also company secretary to all subsidiary companies in Group.
