Barry Soloman has joined th National Freight Consortium a chief pensions officer based e the pensions department at th Merton Centre, Bedford.
Mr Solomon joins the NFt from TI Group where he ha been the pension fund manage and secretary since 1977. H worked in the pensions depart ments at the Burtons Group ii Leeds from 1969-77 and Allie. Breweries from 1965-69.
Mr Solomon replaces Joh Agar, NFC's chief pension officer since 1972, who wi shortly be leaving the NFC.
