SOUTH Humberside's motorway, M180, is to be extended to take in the new Scunthorpe by-pass at a cost of £10,612,627 announced the Department of Transport this week.
The new by-pass will run from a free-flow interchange at Bottesford Moor, part of the Trent to Scunthorpe section which is being built. It will run east to the south of Scunthorpe to join the existing A18 Sheffield to Grimsby road.
