Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Robert Wynn and Sons Ltd, Newport, Mon, is expecting delivery shortly of a heavy haulage trailer which when fully operational is likely to be the largest capacity transporter in the UK.

The trailer is being made for Wynn by Jean Nicolas et Fits, of Auxerre, France. Its two bogies wilt each have 10 axles (four wheels on each axle) and, used as bolsters, the carrying capacity of the pair is 600 tons gross. Each bogie can be split into three and four axle sections, and these modules can be used as independent units. When seven line bogies are used complete with a double swan-neck frame for carrying transformers, generators, etc, the capacity will be 350 tons.

In due course Wynn anticipates acquiring another frame for use with 10 line bogies for the transport of loads of the order of 420 tons.
