• A number of Production Engineering Research Association of Great Britain (PERA) educational and training courses for 1972 are of interest to transport management although they are not specifically transport-biased. These include courses on foremanship and supervision; improving. industrial and commercial security; Industrial Relations Act; management techniques; financial management for non-financial managers; and planning techniques for managers. There are also courses on work study techniques, training and personnel functions and selling.
