Dutch licensing authority NIWO Is to announce in comber the results of appeals by flagged-out fipanies against the revocations of their Dutch orating licences.

Reports are being compiled on the appeals of syth Transport, (BV) which had its Dutch licence /eked in June, Cyril Knowles and three other meanies with UK origins.

The authority is investigating whether the inpanies are actually running businesses operA from addresses on their 0-licences. Neither syth Transport (BV) nor Cyril Knowles wanted comment when CMcontacted them.

One UK haulier says the problems encountered the firms are unnecessary. Alan Douglas Alan Douglas Commercials, which has it received registration as a Dutch Gunny, says that the Dutch authorities have an as "good as gold" with him.

Senior Traffic Commissioner Michael Betts has expressed concerns that some Ilk operators who have been censured in the UK are being allowed to obtain standard international licences.

Kilsyth Transport Services in the UK, run by George Brady, the brother of Kilsyth Transport (BV)'s owner Murray Brady, had its UK 0-licence revoked last summer. Cyril Knowles had its licence suspended, but not revoked, for two weeks in June this year following drivers' hours and tachograph offences.
