IN Two Lancaster hauliers have had their international licence suspended because the cheque they sent to pay for their licence bounced.
John Barker and Stuart Berry of B&B Haulage failed to appear before North Western Licensing Authority Martin Albu at a disciplinary inquiry.
Albu said a licence was granted in February, subject to a fee being paid. A cheque was sent but it bounced.
The traffic office wrote to the two in October warning that their financial repute would have to be considered, but they did not reply to the letter.
