Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Leyland Daf has developed a four-tonne recovery vehicle, with bodybuilder Brimec, of Bristol, which is based on the 400 Series crew cab.

It comes with a 2.5-litre turbo diesel engine — 2.0 and 3.5-litre petrol or 2.5-litre naturally-aspirated diesel versions are also available.

Air suspension is fitted as standard, and this allows the back of the vehicle to be lowered to give a better angle for the lifting beam. The rear axle has been uprated to 3,000kg.

Leyland Daf has already received orders from the RAC, the British Airports Authority at Heathrow and about five independent recovery operators.
