Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A COLLAPSIBLE cone has been introduced by Swintex Ltd of Derby Works, Bury, which manufactures road safety equipment.

The Police Scientific Research Branch of the Home Office and the National Research Development Corporation assisted with the development of the cone so that it conforms to the 1975 Road Signs Regulation Directive and to the British Standards.

Comprising a rubber base 28cm square by 30mm (121sq in x 1in) deep and weighing 2.72kg (6 lb), the design will help ease storage problems and is said to be ideal for use by police vehicle crews, public utility repair vehicles and industry.

A rubber plug fitted with a nylon cord and toggle hand grip allows extension to a height of 45cm (1Bin).
