Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A RANGE of portable or static speed check ramps able to withstand a continual stream of maximum weight commercial vehicles is now available.

Known as Porta-ramp, the ramps are moulded in solid rubber, and remove the possibility of grounding by low vehicles and the danger of the driver losing control of his vehicle.

For temporary speed restrictions, Porta-ramp units can be moved to another area or stored. If the ramps are to be permanent, a simple through-bolt can secure each ramp to the road surface.

The 380mm-wide blocks are available in yellow or black, and connection plugs make it possible for a continuous ramp to be constructed.

Porta-ramp is made by Ondura Ltd, Burlington Works, Bradford Road, Keighley, West Yorkshire.
