A portable, air-cooled ac welding transformer incorporating a battery charger and which works from a standard domestic power supply has been developed by SIP Indus-: trial Products.
Called the SIP 9013C, the unit features a central ammeter with an amperage indication from 0 to 12 amps and an automatic switch which intervenes if the battery charger is wrongly operated. The charger operates at 6, 12, or 24V. Made by: SIP (Industrial Products) Ltd, Radnor Road, South Wigston, Leicester.
