• Aberdeen Corporation's application to increase bus fares, including raising the maximum fare from 7d to 9d, has been rejected by the Traffic Commissioners for Scotland. The corporation's transport department has been asked to submit revised proposals and the Commissioners say they are prepared to grant dispensation for acceptable alternative proposals.
