compete with the likes of the Vauxhall Combo and the Citroen fierlingo. Called Kubistar, it is expected to go on sale this October.
Derived from the Renault Kangoo, the van will be offered in two payload versions-620kg and
800kg. And though the fine-up is yet to be finalised, the company reckons as many as six different engines could be offered, including three dCi units. It will also be available with different side-door and tailgate options, including a rear roof-hatch. Coming in at a little over 4m in length, the Kubistar offers a load volume up to 3m3 when fitted with the removable bulkhead.
Nissan is aiming the van principally at the small business owner in the service sector. Prices are expected to start around £7,000.
