A DOUBLE decker converted by the National Bus Company to a mobile play centre has been presented to Jimmy Saville, president of Phab (Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied). It was used last year in a touring exhibition staged by the Department of Transport as part of International Year of Disabi people.
Another humanitarian gest!. by NBC is the conversion of tv‘ Alder Valley Leyland Nationah to carry 10 people in wheel chairs. The change-over from ordinary bus to transport for ti disabled takes only a couple ol hours. NBC may claim quite as justifiably as British Airways tlit takes great care of people.
